We've got spirit, yes we do! Welcome back to the 2025-2026 school year. We will be launching the year with a spirit week. Here are the details:

Tuesday- Dress for Success! Dress your personal best for the first day of school.

Wednesday- Wacky Accessories! Hair accessories, cool glasses, fun hats. If you got 'em, wear 'em!

Thursday- Team Colors! Deck out head to toe in your--

Miller Mustangs! We hope that you have had a fun and safe summer. Our school office reopens on Wednesday, 8/6/25. School office hours are 7:30-4:00 pm. The first day of school is Tuesday, 8/19/25. Class/teacher assignments will be shared before the first day of school (more communication to follow). Back to School Night is Thursday, 8/21/25, from 5:00-6:30 pm at Miller. This is a great way to meet your student's teacher and connect with our Miller staff. We cannot wait to see you, reconnect, and launch the 2025-2026 school year!

Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week. Monday May 12th - Friday, May 16th. Message Monday - Bring a flower real or drawn to show your appreciation. Treat Tuesday Bring a special treat for the teacher or staff of your choice. Wonderful Wednesday - Tell teachers and staff all the ways to make Miller wonderful. Thankful Thursday - Make a card or write a note to a Miller Staff Member. Fan Friday - Show your appreciation for all Miller staff and wear your Miller gear or school colors. The ideas above are all optional suggestions for participating in the daily themes/activities. If you have other ideas or would like to show your appreciation to teacher and staff in different ways, please feel free.

Miller Elementary PTA Presents the 2025 Miller Fun Run Fundraiser! This fundraiser will start on Monday, March 3rd and will end on Friday, March 14. Money Raised Tiered Schoolwide Prizes. $2,500 raised = Individual bubbles + Sunglasses for students. $5,000 raised = Snacks. $7,500 raised = Bubble Dance Party. $10,000 raised = Live DJ. $15,000 raised = Teacher/Admin Funny Costume. $20,000 raised = BMX Assembly. TOP RUNNER IN EACH GRADE will earn a medal + gift card. TOP EARNER IN EACH CLASS will earn a prize from the PTA box. TOP EARNING CLASS will earn an ice cream sundae party! TOP 3 FUNDRAISERS will earn Apple Air Pods!!! All students will have their own fundraising page through 99 Pledges. Parents should have received their personalized link on Sunday March 2. We are excited to partner with the American Heart Association this year through the Kids Heart Challenge service-learning program. Students will learn how to have happy and healthy hearts, while raising life saving donations to help others with special hearts. To join our community of lifesavers, follow the next steps... Join the movement to create a community of lifesavers across the nation by completing Finn's Mission and learning hands-only CPR. SAVE LIVES. WIN BIG. Students and staff that complete Finn's Mission will earn an entry for two tickets to Super Bowl LX in 2026 and our school will entered to receive $10,000 fitness equipment makeover for every 18 students and staff who complete Finn's challenge.
