Hello and welcome!

My name is Katelyn Sylvester, and I am honored to introduce myself as the new principal of Miller Elementary School. It is with great excitement and enthusiasm that I join this incredible community, and I look forward to working collaboratively with each of you to ensure our students thrive both academically and personally.

Here in Escondido Union School District, our focus is on the learner profile and the Framework for the Future. We believe in providing personalized learning opportunities that cater to each student's unique strengths, needs, and interests. By adopting a competency-based model, we ensure students progress based on their mastery of skills and knowledge, fostering deeper understanding and a sense of ownership in their learning journey.
